Maestro+ is the perfect software solution to boost the overall performance of your automated production or warehouse. It is web-based, efficient, low cost, user friendly, multilingual and fully modular.
The software consists of a 'core system', which is the heart of the system that manages and exchanges all master data with other systems (ERP/SCM/MES/PLC). In addition, various modules are available that can be connected to the Core system independently of each other. These modules make it possible to develop a customized Maestro+ total package. You only buy what you really need at the time of the integration, without impeding future adjustments or the growth of your organization.

WCS pallet factory
This Maestro+ module is used to control an automated palletising system (from Alvey/Scott or another provider). The Maestro+ WCS Pallet Factory manages:
This module controls the product flow in the warehouse on the conveyor. The WCS conveyor communicates in real time with the PLC. With the necessary data, the WCS ensures that all products arrive at the right location. It triggers events to other modules via attribution when needed, e.g. to print labels.

WCS order preparation
This module can be used for various ways of automated order picking, e.g. order picking using barcode scanners, pick-to-light, pick-to-voice or pick-to-vision. Maestro+ communicates with hardware provided by third parties.
WCS AGV (automated guided vehicle)
This module manages and controls the Automated Guided Vehicles. Maestro+ integrates the supervisory management of the AGV system for a seamless user experience throughout the entire system. The module generates and controls pick and drop missions and optimizes these missions.
The cockpit was designed to give a detailed insight of the performance of the palletising installation, such as how the infeed/outfeed of the tables is going during a certain period, what the load factor of the palletisers are, if there are potential bottlenecks in the installation. If there is, for example, a drop in output, the cockpit will be able to trace this back to the origin. The cockpit allows the customer to have capacity and occupancy monitoring and planning.
Slotting & mapping
This software solution makes it possible to manage your warehouse to its best, by optimising: the stock volumes, the number of operators and the order preparation cycle. The first two are included in the 'Slotting' part of the software. By analysing the stock and the order details, every product gets the most optimal location in the warehouse.
This selection happens on the number of products in stock, the frequency of picking and replenishment and type of emplacement this product needs. By estimating the time needed to handle an order and analysing the productivity of employees, the perfect number of required employees can be calculated.
The third part is included in the 'Mapping' part of the software, where optimization of the warehouse locations is made possible. This can be done by analysing the products that are frequently ordered together and place them near to each other in the warehouse. This process reduces the order picking time, and results in a more efficient way of working.
