Linear Automated Preparation & Analysis
The Rocklabs Tropicana automated sample preparation system is designed to process up to 500 samples in 12 hours, and provide analytical information and weighed samples ready for fire assay.
In this high throughput, fully automated system, samples of up to 10kg are crushed, pulverised and weighed into containers (x 50g sample and 1 x 500g retained sample). The 50g sample conveyor runs into the Fire Assay Room, for further lab analysis. The 500g retains accumulates on a conveyor in the Sample Prep Room, ready to be stored or analysed if required. The process includes RFID tracking and data extraction to a LIMs System.
